Coronado was recently rated the #1 beach in the USA! All fields are within sight of the water. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit, fins, and boards. You can picnic and swim at most game sites!
Coronado is located across the San Diego Bay from the City of San Diego and 15 minutes from the Mexican border, the famous San Diego Zoo and Sea World. Weather conditions during late July and early August are normally clear and sunny with temperature in the mid-seventies. Some games may be played under the lights when beach temperatures are in the low seventies to high sixties.
Coronado’s wide and sandy shoreline is ranked No. 3 beach in the USA by Dr. Beach! Swim, surf, bodyboard or just fall asleep in the sun. Coronado is the perfect beach to spend the day or weekend sprawled out under an umbrella until sun sets over the Pacific Ocean. Learn more by visiting coronadovisitorcenter.com.
